Why we recommend starting with a deep clean

We recommend, but don't require, that your first visit be a deep cleaning. A home that hasn't been professionally cleaned has buildup a regular visit isn't designed to reach: soap scum in the shower, grease film on cabinet fronts, dust settled into baseboards and window tracks. The deep clean does that heavy work once, takes roughly twice as long, and is priced accordingly. After that, every visit maintains the standard instead of fighting to reach it, which is why the recurring rate is lower and stays lower.

Not ready for a deep clean right now? Start with regular cleanings and add it whenever it works for you. Plenty of people do it that way.

Regular cleaning, every visit

• Dusting all accessible surfaces: shelves, counters, furniture tops

• Dusting ceiling fans, light fixtures, and vents

• Vacuuming carpets and rugs

• Sweeping and mopping hard floors

• Wiping down kitchen counters and stovetop

• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms: toilet, sink, mirror, shower and tub

• Emptying trash cans and replacing liners

• Making beds and straightening up

• Spot-cleaning visible marks on walls and doors

Deep cleaning, everything above plus:

• Inside the oven and microwave

• Inside the refrigerator

• Tile grout in kitchens and bathrooms

• Baseboards, door frames, and light switch plates

• Window sills, tracks, and interior window glass

• Behind and underneath furniture and appliances

• Faucets and showerheads

• Shower tile, grout, and tubs, deep scrubbed

• Cabinet fronts and hardware

When you need a deep cleaning

Starting service. Moving in or out. Once or twice a year, even on a regular schedule. After a long break from cleaning.

What we don't do

Debris or trash hauling, ladder work, windows above the ground floor, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, pet waste or litter boxes, pest and rodent cleanup, moving heavy furniture, or floor stripping and waxing. Need something not listed? Ask. We may be able to help.
